About me
After graduating from University College London in 2009, I have worked within a variety of settings and age groups, ranging from pre-school children to young adults.
I have a passion for working with Augmented and alternative communication systems (AAC) and this includes high tech devices such as eye gaze. I also have a special interest in social and emotional communication difficulties.
The vision for 'Seen and Heard SLT' is based on adopting a person-centred and individualised approach.
I have experience working with children who have difficulties with attention and listening, social skills, language delay/disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Executive Function Skills, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy and Downs Syndrome.
I have written and delivered a range of bespoke training packages for schools and nurseries.
When I am not talking about all things speech and language, you will usually find me cooking, playing tennis or enjoying the great outdoors!
